English experience.

When I was a kid, I felt fulfilled knowing a couple of colors and numbers, like blue and red, and one, two, three, and the truth is that through the years I was increasingly interested in the idea of learning new words, but I ain't started learning English at school till I was at 5th grade. It was then that I started linking the English language perse.
Just the truth of things I would have preferred to study English as a subject from kindergarten or first grade.
Or even from a young age when learning to speak. In this way it would be like a second mother language and things would be quite different.

Here at the university I entered the third grade of English. But really the program taught by the university in this subject, in my opinion, is not a program that trains a person to go out into the world of work with a high level of English, but rather helps to express ourselves by exercising reading, writing and verbal expression. But the real training is what we bring with ourselves from always.
Writing blogs (or anything, but in English) is very useful to learn new words or phrases that before we didn’t know. And besides is entertaining to write.
What I really think I should do to improve my English is to have conversations in English with people. I feel that I know a lot of English, only that I have not had the disposition, the time or the money for the example, to pay for an English course like Open English.
And in truth, every day I occupy little English, only those moments that I see some movie / series, when I listen to music or when I look for information to study.

Changes.

As everything in any ambit, there is always a thing we can change to make it better. The carrer of pharmacy must be subject to changes, as a few carrers related to the area of health.
The career subjetc of the last semester, the pharmacist and his action, contains a section in which a couple of topics should be discussed. To me and my group, it corresponded to us to debate against the current curricular mesh of the carrer.
In this we do not agree with the professor, but the truth for us makes a lot of sense:
we believe that contemplating "ethics" as a subjetc is a pretty rational idea.
It is assumed that ethics is implemented transversally in each subject, but we believe that it is really necessary to be treated particularly as ethics and not globally through the career, even keeping in mind that this is an ethical career and everything that implies.
Regarding the workload and duration of the studies there is not much to discuss. The truth of things is that on the one hand is "negative" has a lot of worklaod. It can be very stressful or even frustrating.
But in the long term, it's in this way that we can advance the studies efficiently and systemically.
The duration of the career is well within the parameters that are established. A university career lasts at least 5 years, enough time to achieve the objectives and knowledge required to practice as a pharmacist.

Talking about the facilities of the faculty ... well, in front of this point there is much to discuss. Certainly this is not the most beautiful faculty of Chilean universities.
The facilities there are some good, like the new building built in grass of
"anexo", and others that leave a lot to desire, such as tables in that place, or as the physical state of bathrooms.
Regarding the use of technology, the truth is that it is nothing out of the ordinary in this first year, nothing beyond using a microscope in biology or experiments with current in physics.
I really hope later to be enchanted with processes where other technological instruments are used, such as micropipettes, microscopes of enormous capacity, or a tablet counting machine, in example.
But as well as "change technology", I would only say that it is reasonable to be updated on technological instruments in order to improve the teaching.
And finally speaking of teaching as such in the university, there is not much to change. Only to say that the study is on one's part.
The professor in the universities is usually that person to whom to direct the doubts of what one has studied.
Only some teachers are the exception and have the ability or intention to teach in such a way that the student achieves to comprehend the respective subject.
